FD Dipasquale Moto Racing presents the new FD 614 newly cast cylinder, featuring a carbon DLC treatment designed to take Yamaha T-MAX performance to the next level.
The cylinder has been completely redesigned in its casting, improving structural rigidity, thermal dissipation, and reliability even under the most extreme operating conditions.
The DLC coating creates an extremely hard surface layer with a very low coefficient of friction, reducing wear between piston and cylinder, improving sliding, and increasing resistance to high temperatures and loads. The result is increased engine longevity, lower mechanical losses, and more consistent performance even under the most extreme conditions. This new project stems from the direct experience and continuous development of FD's high-performance engines.
