These camshafts ensure performance optimization, guaranteeing optimal airflow management by increasing engine efficiency and power. Thanks to the pre-installed and phased sprockets, the kit is plug & play, requiring only valve clearance adjustment. A high-quality configuration that takes your T-Max one step beyond the wind!

THE COMPLETE KIT INCLUDES:

• 2 FD billet camshafts PK-FD97A and PK-FD92S, complete with D.27 variable timing sprockets already installed; both camshafts and sprockets undergo DLC treatment.
• 8 Reinforced Racing springs

The DLC – Diamond-Like Carbon treatment creates an extremely thin, hard layer with a low coefficient of friction on the surface of the cams and sprockets, designed to protect mechanical components under the most demanding operating conditions.

The characteristic anthracite-black appearance is the result of a high-performance surface treatment used in the automotive and racing sectors to increase wear resistance and improve the smoothness of parts subjected to heavy loads.

MANUFACTURING

Before DLC application, each component is carefully prepared and checked. The coating precisely follows the geometry and profile of the cam without altering its technical and functional characteristics.

The treatment is particularly recommended for tuned engines that operate with:

• high rotation speeds;

• uprated valve springs;

• more aggressive cam profiles;

• high loads on the timing system;

• sports, racing, or high-performance use.
